今回、各クラスで扱ったニュース記事は次の2本です。
NE1（初級）：コーヒーかすでバスを動かすロンドン
NE2（中級）：板門店の非武装地帯を越えて北朝鮮兵士が亡命
NE2（中級）では、北朝鮮兵士の亡命についてのCNN 10のニュースを扱いました。板門店の非武装地帯を越えて亡命を求めた北朝鮮兵士は幸いにも一命をとりとめ、追っ手の北朝鮮国境警備隊の銃撃の中で亡命者の安全を確保しようとして負傷した韓国人兵士が英雄として扱われているそうです。また、北朝鮮の国境警備隊は総入れ替えになった模様です。北朝鮮の人権問題に取り組んでいる専門家によると、当日任務についていた北朝鮮の国境警備隊員たちは国家公安部によって拷問され、処分されるだろうとのことです。
亡命兵士の栄養・衛生状態は悪く、寄生虫も体内にいたそうです。国際社会が行っている制裁が、真っ先に北朝鮮の末端にいる人々を苦しめているのかも知れません。
NE2クラスのスピーキング課題のお知らせ
今回のお題は、国民を貧困で苦しめているという理由で独裁者を暗殺しても良いか否かを問うものです。人の命を奪うという点では、死刑制度とも共通する問題で議論するのが難しいとは思いますが、なんとか考えをまとめてみてください。自分には判断できないというのが結論であれば、その線で議論を組み立ててください。また、スピーチ原稿の構成は、（1）意見表明と理由（簡潔に）、（2）それを支える具体的な論述、（3）結論（意見表明と同じ内容）が基本です。
問題：
If a country is controlled by a dictator and the general public are suffering from poverty, is that alone a good enough reason to assassinate the dictator? How do you feel about the dictator’s human rights and the people’s rights to lead a happy life? Specific details and examples will help.

I don't agree with the idea of assassinating anyone including a dictator. There are reasons for supporting my argument.
For example, the country's autocratic administration would just find another dictator to continue their regime. So, the assassination might not help people get out of poverty. What's more, one killing leads to another. Both officials and people might come to resort to murdering to solve their problems. This will bring about moral destruction and make the country more hellish.
I think the best way is for people to gather power and rise against the regime. This might be difficult but will bring more desirable consequences for sure. That’s why I don't agree with assassinating dictators.
